The Contractor Expo
Recognizing our suppliers bring unique perspectives and invaluable industry insights, we would like to offer the opportunity for your company to showcase out-of-box ideas that foster a culture of continuous improvement.
We are hoping this event will unleash new ideas not only to support Kearl on their OPEX journey, but to also spotlight Kearl suppliers who share our CI mindset with a broader audience across Imperial, where invitations will extend to Imperial’s Cold Lake and Norman Wells teams, IRP & Major Projects, as well as Supply Chain, Procurement and E&R organizations.
This is your opportunity to show-off, brag about your latest continuous improvement initiatives and sell yourself to departments you may not normally have exposure to. Tell us about your ideas - whether its about productivity, efficiency or execution - we want to hear how you're a great partner with Imperial!
Event Details
What's the day going to look like?
We want you bring your creativity, innovation, technology and all your wild ideas to us!

Format
Open-doors w/ no structured agenda. Imperial guests will be able to visit booths to engage with suppliers, experience live demos and engage in 1on1 conversation.

Vibe
Fun and engaging to stimulate collaboration and ideas.
You're encouraged to bring demo's, presentations, technology and anything else that highlights your continuous improvement mindset

Set up
Trade show style setup - each supplier will be provided with pipe/drape/signage (10x10 booth) - you have to bring the rest of the fun!
Schedule
9:00am - 11:00am - Suppliers can arrive to customize their booths
11:00am - 1:00pm - Doors open and connections begin
1:00pm - Event closes

All participants are to arrive through the main doors to obtain security passes from your hosts.

A free, dedicated visitor lot is located on the east surface lot in front of the main entrance. This area allows convenient access to visitors who will be meeting their host at the main entrance. Visitors using this lot must register their vehicles via tablets located at the main reception desk. Please note that the clearly marked visitor lot is not open to resident employees and contractors of the campus. The visitor lot is monitored on a daily basis, and unauthorized vehicles will be subject to fines and towing.

Summit Conference Center

Please note that each supplier is allowed a maximum of 4 participants at their booth due to capacity restrictions at the Summit. We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any additional booth requirements or if you need to drop off/courier larger items prior to the trade show. We're here to assist you and ensure everything is in order for a successful event.

Registration

All participants planning to attend must register individually.

All participants need to be pre-registered prior to the day of the event to allow time for security access to be arranged. If there are changes required to your pre-registered participants, please contact Heather Dobbelsteyn directly.

Due to space restrictions at the Summit, the number of supplier participants will be capped - this event will be on a supplier first come/first serve basis.
